Putting a new Clarion CMD6 in my boat. DIN size chassis, but the faceplate is large.
Anyway, the old deck had one of those plastic marine covers that would open at the push of a button. But the hole for that thing is much bigger than the hole required for the new deck, plus there are the four screw holes that retained it.
Anybody been through this before - and is there a coverplate or kit from Clarion or anybody that addresses this? Hopefully I don't have to make my own. Thanks!

I used the adapter plate below when I upgraded an XMD1 to a CMD5. It fills the hole well and looks good. In reality it is just a 1/4 black plastic plate with 3M double sided tape if you are handy you could make one.
