L.I./N.J. Boaters...New Waterfront Restaurant....Really Nice!!!
Any of you guys looking for a new destination should give this place a shot.....all I can say is WOW !!! Pops in Island Park Long Island.......New Jersey boaters can run in to East Rockaway Inlet and it is only a few minutes from there.....Best part is no long idling to get there......I have to say they did a great job building it....docks are all new....staff and the crowd are very easy on the eyes....good food...live music.....you can just hang all day on the brand new beach with palm trees and fire pits or you can eat in the resteraunt or just eat from the full service barbecue set up on the beach.......really nice spot to visit..........................John

Saw you boat there all day yesterday. I stopped by around 9pm but you were gone. Pops is a cool hang out spot. Not your typical bar to say the least. They put $4 million into that place and imported the sand and palm trees from Hawaii? or something of that nature. I'll be at Bracco's tonight for the bikini contest. Stop by if you get a chance!!

you must have just missed me......we ended up staying till almost 9pm.......i guessed between 3-4 million......sand from Hawaii sounds crazy but they really did a great job......I won't be at Bracco's tonight but enjoy......I have been to the bikini contest a few times and it is fun.......If you hit Pops next week let me know.......I want to bring a few of my friends to see it...........

lol....they have been doing it for years on Monday nights......last time i went there were about twelve girls but the owner told me that was his best turnout ever......problem is that crowd gets sketchy after dark if you know what I mean.......
