Found this near me looking at some CC's... I can't find really any info on Sabre except for some company that started in 86', but this hull is from 81'? But looks like a sweet, unique setup with a front mounted 450hp 671 Detroit Diesel.

Anybody know anything about these boats, or hull... or was this a custom job?

Owner got back to me, was custom built.. cruising speed 28knots, top end 30 knots, only burns 8 gallons per hour. Pretty damn cool, I was just hoping it would be quicker being 450 hp even with the lower revs of the diesel.

those old detroits burned more than 8 gallons an hr idleing, I would question the fuel number.
