I'm new here so bare with me. I have a 91' Baja 270 and the captain's call is no longer working and the boat is always in quiet mode. I was told that the system I have is a 2-line system and the new systems are 3-line making it hard to find a replacement. My question is I would like the exhaust to just go straight through the pipes so that it is loud all the time. Can this be done? Can the rubber dampers inside the exhause be removed or something along those lines? Any other suggestions?

Is it the mercury air actuated system? If so, you can use a couple of tie wraps to hold the actuators open.
