Im looking to remove my silent choice y-pipe. The motor is out. does any one sell a block off plate ? bravo 1 outdrive

Mercury sells one also. Includes the plate and new bolts with lock washers. List price is around $30 part # is 97350T1. Let me know if you need one I have a few.

Good move - the worst thing I ever did was put mine BACK in the boat when I had the motors out.

Next time the motors come out the Silent Choice is going in the swap shop.

Just curious....but why the worst thing you ever did?? Is there some downside to running it? I put mine back in after pulling the motors. Sometimes it's just nice to shut the exhaust off.

Seems like I have constant leaks from the bushings/seals that the turn rod rotates in.

Luckily I found the same part that CMI sells at Car Quest, but i have replaced 3 of the 4 over the last 12 months and now the 4th is leaking. My patience is low, and I never use the things so it is just extra places to develop water leaks.

Depending on the installed cam.....REVERSION.

x2 on selling...LOL I just took mine off as well. Would be a nice change to have money come in from boat parts instead of a constant drain from buying boat parts.
