Guys is this pump good with a hull mounted water pick up? Do the pumps do anything at high speed like 70 to 125? Or does the water psi just bend over the rubber vanes? Or do I need like a two stage pump? Psi is like 18psi but temps come up to like 170 or so after a good pass and big tubes are getting hot on the highest point of the headers.

I am getting my water psi reading from side of block. Is that right or should it be higher on the intake?
