Default E 10 fuel

Been hearing horror stories about possible problems with 10% ethanol fuel. No first hand experience but it was brougt up at a marina I was at the other night. Like most topics no one there actually had an issue it was just what people are hearing. I have seen additives at a display at home depot with a pile of cooked small engine parts and pieces. Is this an issue that needs attention. Running an injected supercharged motor on pump gas 93 and not looking to find out the hard way.

I run two Nickerson carbed ,inter cooled, supercharged big blocks. When the E10 hit our stations I got rid of my dead head regulators and installed bypass regulators and return lines. now sometimes when I get a diff. mix from the stations all I have to do is adjust the four corner idle screws for a good idle. I like to believe buy using the bypass regs. I keep the fuel stirred up. been three years now and zero problems.

We use e10 and have had no issues. My boat is carbed and my budy runs a mix of 93 e10 and racing fuel in his mpi.

the biggest issues have been in boats that use fiberglass fuel tanks, the ethanol attacks the resins, and older boats that use rubber hoses, seals, etc. the older rubbers dry out with the ethanol.

Don't let it age, keep it fresh and only pump what you are going to burn. After it sits it starts to separate and can cause major engine damage. I took out the tops of my rod berrings, now I do things different.
