Yep, Steve bruised a Rib & sat out the Gold Cup.

I caught the after accident images. I was watching, but changing lenses, when Miss Madison launched over Qatar.

Here are a few more pixs.

Jay,

Thank you.

The only East Coast places you'll find Unlimited's is either Madison or Detroit. Then they swing Westward for the remaining of the season, till they head to Doha, Qatar, for the World Championships.

Here is the Miss Madison/ Oh Boy Oberto, in the setting afternoon sun.

Nice work on the slow shutter speed panning. That's tough with the up and down motion of the boats.

Thumbs up Great Pics!

James, outstanding Pics! Man, I miss seeing those boats in person, they only have a few races per/year now. I used to watch them every year in Mission Bay.

Pics/boats look amazing! Great work James..!!!!

Swede,

Thanks for the props on my panning skillz

Panning with Hydro's, sure does make for a very small keeper ratio. I have deleted 75% of what I shot on Sunday @ Madison. I didn't pan on every pass, but panning truly does convey motion, especially with Hydro's. I'll post some more in the next couple of days.
