Default Lake Havasu boating accident

I just read about an accident at Lake Havasu where a 28' boat flipped and threw 4 people out and 2 are missing. Anybody have any other information. Sounded like some kind of mechanical failure. Thoughts and prayers to the families.

Unhappy Accident

Go to Havasunews.com

I just read the whole story, its an Illinois couple thrown from a 28ft deck boat, near Site Six, friday evening....
that was the 1st article I read. Now appears may have been a 36ft boat. I don't know, I wasn't there.

VERY SAD, I hate reading these stories! SUCKS!

Comment:

This is the latest news and it is very sad and tragic. It can literally happen to anyone.

[h=1]Illinois Couple Presumed Drowned[/h] A couple on vacation from Illinois are missing and presumed drowned at Lake Havasu after they were tossed out of a 36-foot Eliminator boat north of Site Six about 8:10 p.m. Friday. Mohave County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Trish Carter said investigators suspect a malfunction caused the boat to make an unintended turn, causing it to roll four to five times across the lake surface.

An extensive dive operation was initiated to locate and recover the bodies of the unidentified victims. Carter said another male and female adult who were tossed from the watercraft were rescued by nearby boaters.
They were released following treatment for minor injuries at Havasu Regional Medical Center.
Peace be with the families and God Bless!

They were friends of ours also, and they will be greatly missed!!! Both were recovered this afternoon so thats a plus during a whole lot of minus. They were great people and great boaters, and those are the worst ones to lose.
Prayers and condolences...
