Maybe so Mpally. It doesnt have to be new. It can be something that needs a little work. They are looking to spend no more than 3K. RIght now the dock takes the boat out of the river in the fall and puts it back into the water in spring. They are wanting a trailer so they can take it to there house and store it there in the winter, so they can make repairs or do any work on it.

the trailer you are seeking and the price point you have set are polar opposites. you will be hard pressed to find something cheaper than 5k. Even at 6k, thats a good deal. the shear length 39ft and robustness to handle 17k lbs will put you past 3k.

I looked for awhile for a trailer for my boat......40ft / 18k lbs and from all my looking around $6k for a trailer that big that's also in good condition is a deal. Not saying you may not find something cheaper but I didn't in 1.5 years of looking. Found one for $2500 and it needed $5k worth of work.
