Default 270 Laser Subwoofer

Does anyone have a subwoofer install on their 270 ? I want to install two Alpine marine 10" woofers in the cockpit under the bench seat. Anyone have pics, please send them to me Thanks

Two JL 10's in my 290

Amps installed in storage cuddy in the cabin

I would highly recommend going with class D amps simply bc they are so much easier on your batteries, I can blast music on the sandbar all day full volume and not worry about dead batteries when I go to start

how many batteries do you have onboard ? I bet that thing sounds amazing. I like to play mostly club type music top 40 type music. How are those JL ?

Two smaller batteries for the motors and one bigger aux battery. Could probably run on just the two but I played it safe and plus had the other one just laying around from my old boat so figured what the hell. I play all different kinds of music and the bass is very loud yet still clean and crisp. For mid/highs I run JL 7.7" components and the JL 100x4 class D. The sub amp is a JL 600x1 class D split to run both subs. Id highly recommend JL but alpine has great stuff as well, I run an alpine head unit

I have a alpine unit now cda-7876 but it was from my car and thinking of even replacing that with a Alpine CDA-118M. What type of head unit do you have ?

I have the CDA-117, since my head unit is in the cabin I didn't think I needed the marine version... either of them will work great for ya, I just wanted the 4V pre-outs because of the better sound quality. Or if you don't want to go that route and keep your original you can really up the pre-outs with a line driver
