Default Accident @ Lake Havasu

Does anyone have details of what happened here? I heard a brief account of it, that it was an Eliminator Speedster, and might have been cause by Smartcraft going into guardian mode on one engine.

I guess that goes to show that you can't trust what you hear. It wasn't a Speedster after all. Sounds like a deck boat going too fast w/o hydraulic steering? Condolences to all involved.

Unhappy Eliminator Accident

I was told it was actually a 33 Daytona, and that there was a severe failure with one of the drives, causing the boat to flip once, then spin around in circles.... lots of different information in all the newspaper articles....
hopefully more information will be reported soon. Very Sad!

Maybe he knows more than you think,The boat is impounded at the sheriffs dept -has one drive hanging supported only by the steering ram and the gimbal is broke.

A lot of speculation and misinformed people out there. I have read 3 articles with three different size boats 33, 36, 28 speedster, deck boat ect.. Drives from number 6 to Imco scx. Lets wait for facts. My condolence to the families involved. They will be missed.

Yes It was and it's sad people lost there lives. It woke us up everything has been gone with the drives on our NXTs even though that's not what was on the boat that crashed. These boats are safe fluke accidents do happen just sad some one lost there lives over it.
