Last year of production was 85, I've seen one 86 and one 97 (built special for JT) and none in between

They started around 1973ish, & I'd say 1986 was the last of them, with exception going to the 1997 model & my past one which were done in tandem. They are the two "newest" ones out there.

The Bullet pretty much took over for the 28 in production.

The boat was originally black so the black part of the stripe is original and the rest of the color was added to form the stripe and then the upper part was painted white.

I am running 1988 320 efi merc smallblocks. These are the first model merc released with EFI.

I am running 19" Mirages. Makes me think that the drives are 1.3 ratio because if they are i.5's I think I would need more prop.

Boat runs really well. Tried to sell it here and ebay but doesn't seem to be worth much. Fun boat. I'lll just keep her.
