Call up David woods or Carey Downs @ Pier 57 in pickwick TN. These guys know the boats and sell many of them. You might also be able to call up Randy at MTI in wentzville, MO. Either of those guys can answer your questions in detail, probably depends on what you want to spend and spleed. I don't own one....wish I could!!

Better look into insurance. I am looking to do the same thing as you. I am about a year out from upgrading and have been doing a TON of research. The insurance is tricky if you don't have cat experience. Might change your plans, kind of need to get a slower cat to get your training wheels out of the way.

If u look on Pier57.com they have a 36 w/700s. I saw this boat in person at Desert Storm in April. Its white/red/grey and says MTI on the deck. The boat was so beautiful in person, the colors were amazing, and it was in perfect condition. You might wanna look at its pics.....

Powerboat mag tested the first 36 w/700s at Havasu it ran 128 msrp was close to $600. The new billet air scoops on the hatches looked great.

Zastrow is possibly looking to sell his boat. Fresh power, well known boat - turn key. Dry sump engine and No. 6 drives.
