Default Weird metal markings on 300 ProMax

Got a chance to get the little Skater out on Sunday and run around. Im still working through all the saltwater eletrical gremlins unfortunately.

Boat ran great but couldnt get the starboard trimpump to activate so I didn't get a chance to run it very hard. Itll run about 70 with no trim.

When I put the boat back in the shop and was washing it down, I came across some very strange markings on the SB drive. It ALMOST looks like a weld from the INSIDE of the case. So I referenced some of my pictures from the spring time and the markings are NOT there.

Does anyone out there know what this is and is it a cause for concern? I cant see ANYTHING in the manual or diagrams that would be causing this..

Any help?!

Imco lowers always have spots of weld on them. Filling up porosity from the casting process I think.
