This one is for my younger bro from NH who goes by “Winni” here on the board. He can’t cheat at work like I can!
I vaulted the ceiling in a waterfront cottage and I want to install one pair of flush mount ceiling speakers. There are numerous brands available but I have listened to a brand name called “Niles, Model # MP6”. These are 6” round design, with an adjustable tweeter, with white flush mount faceplates. Has anyone ever heard of this brand or do you suggest another brand to use? I am not using it to blast myself out of the room [20x18], just want to use them for background music and TV use going through a receiver. Thanks in advance for your input!

I had a pair of Niles OS-10's on my previous boat. Excellent speakers, sounded great and held up great in a salty environment. They wetre not cheap and they took a lot of power to drive them....well worth it. I had a pair of Bose 101's (I think that they are 151's now) and over the years replaced each speaker twice, I finally gave up and bought the Niles.
