Default This Weekend 8/5-8/7 Port Jeff Run

Alright Sports Fans....who's in....

I'd do Montauk, but I think it's time we ascended on Port Jeff...

The debauchery that will ensue should be worth the trip....

Places to go, bars to visit, let's make this a good time!

P.S. probably won't be a child friendly trip...maybe not even a wife friendly, but we'll take what we can get

Let's Rock boys!

Pat, I was talking with a friend last night that hits all the hot spots in the area. I asked him about Port Jeff and the words "stuffy" and "generally not a lot going on" came up in the conversation. Hardly a rave review for the hike to get over there...

If you're talking about bringing a bunch of loud performance boats all the way down the harbor into town, then yes, there may be some issues. Last summer I showed up in my Buddy's 32 Skater and called in on the radio to see if we could get a dock for 2 hours. They asked what kind of boat and immediately said they were full(anybody who was not blind could see that they were not). They said we could tie up to the sea wall but we weren't going to risk the paint/graphics.

If you're talkign about heading over and banging a left into pirates cove at the mouth of the harbor, I don't think there's a better place for a get-together raft-up.

I don't think Pat had a raft-up in mind on this one... I think he's planning more of an assult on PJ!

For the record I love PJ the place is great to bar hop and eat lunch during the day....but late the bars are a blast. Gonna be doing this trip as soon as Moby is back in the water
