Default 496 MAG IAC mounting location

Does anyone have a pic of a 496 MAG or MAG HO showing where the IAC mounts on the back of the manifold? The motor in my boat is set back under the swim platform quite a bit and I cannot get my head back there to see it. I will have to replace it by "feel" so a pic will help me greatly in knowing where to feel and what I am feeling. Thanks!

Look up the motor at www.bammarine.com and you should be able to find the schematic showing how it's all put together.

The schematic on mercruiserparts.com does not show where it mounts. I can follow the air bleed tube to behind the intake manifold but then my hand gets lost in a jungle of wires, cables, etc. I need to see a pic of that mess back there to know where to feel for the IAC valve.

School me, I thought the IAC was on the throttle body and the MAP and MAT were on the back of the manifold? I can take a pic if I'm sure what you need........

That sure looks like an I.A.C below that sensor.

Look at this link-item 38...looks to me just like the part in the back of the motor just like the photos! I had mine replaced last year and this is the same part they handed me back that went bad. The picture is confusing but I think that the line from the throttle body goes around the motor and to the IAC?

I have circled the IAC valve (in red) in the picture from above. I have also included a pic of a new IAC Valve.
