Default what props for 32?

hey guys ,i recently upgraded from a 22 to a 32 pachanga with twin 454 mags..got two sets of props with the boat and trying to figure out new ones to buy..thanks here are the stats as of now
..also the boat has alphas and the guy said he upgraded the gear sets (bigger ratio?)
4 blades 23p full throttle,trimmed out=4300rpms 61.2mph
3 blades 23p full throttle, trimmed out=4550rpms 63.8mph
is there a prop that i could get up a couple more mph with out
putting too much stress on those alphas?? thanks

I agree. Those are pretty good numbers for that boat. I don't think I would push those engines to a much higher RPM. If I remember correctly, the WOT RPM's for the 454's is 4600 - 4800.

well we boat on the chain o lakes..its like 8 lakes chained together..biggest one is only a few miles across..so im never into the throttle for long ..just seeing if i could utilize those couple hundred rpms to get a few more mph( i just miss the speed of my 22 i guess)..had a built 565..scary fast to scary for most on a 22.. man and do i miss the gas tank on the 22

Congrats on the P32...I made the same change from a 22 to the 32, it was a emotional change but a good one. My best speed so far is 64.1 with a 21p Mirage and a 1:32 Alpha @4300. I'm now running a 23p Mirage, it hasn't changed my top end but has improved my cruise speed by 4 mph and that makes the fountain guy happy lol

Bone Stock...With 815 Hours!!! I did rework the exhaust a little, I removed the mufflers, then made my own collectors and moved them from across the front of the motors to the rear, that gained 200 RPM
