Default fountain bildge paint

I know this has been addressed before but! My fountain has a nice white engine bay. I'm getting ready to put my new engines in. What kind of paint can I use to go over what is there. It does look like it is the original paint.I want something that is compatible to put over this and have a decent shine and dry hard so when walking in it I won't pull the paint off. Thanks JOHN SR

I've had very good luck with West Marine's white bilge paint. I think you may find it a bit glossier than the stuff Fountain uses at the factory though.
