Looking at buying a 1988 230 conquest with the 350 in it. Not real familiar with this boat. Anyone have any info on the good and bad about it?

Owned a 1990 for years. Incredibly tough boat but really heavy. With a small block it will be a dog. I started with a 330 and it ran low 50's. Went to a 420 and it barely touched 60. Built a 540hp 540 for it and it went 68 and hit a brick wall as far as speed goes.

Great rough water ride. Lots of space for a 23 footer too.
