Default 1979 crestliner rampage 26' cruiser

Friend of mine just bought a 1979 crestliner rampage 26 footer and was wanting to get some opinions on them. He gave $1000 for it and it's a project to say the least. Are these worth fixing? What speed to be expected with twin 350's? Any known issues we should look for?
Any help would be great. Thanks in advance!

Ps

This thing is gonna have to be totally gutted from one end to the other
