Default Drive oil leak into bilge - 496 HO

Seems I've developed a slow leak somewhere between the drive oil bottle and the drive. Full bottle drained over period of about 8 days.

I haven't squeezed my wide body into the engine compartment yet -- but before I do, are there any "common" leak points I should look at first? It's definitely not coming from anywhere along the top of the motor where the bottle is mounted.

Thanks folks.

there's an o-ring on the inside of the transom assy that sometimes leaks. not a fun one to get to tho.

Mine used to leak from the bottle cap. I replaced the cap and the leak stopped.

My bravo one leaked also, the hose from the bottle to the drive, Had the hose replaced and no issues but I had drive oil evident on the drive.
