The Motion sold for $17000.00 on an "IF" which means the bank has two hours to make up its mind. If the boat is back next week I will repost. The A/T sold for $8500.00 on an IF. I thought that was cheap but didn't have the ballzzzz.

The Motion didn't seem like a bad deal if it's solid.

Manheim Albany. You can bid online if you are a dealer.

is this a "larger" auction?

$17k for the motion? **** i would have forked it to you in cash.

Can a public person do anything to get into these?

I believe it was at a Manheim auction. I saw it but they didn't have any pics that day.

You have to have a boat dealer license to bid and buy at these auctions. A few months back I started to catalog the boats that were up for sale and then list them on a website in hopes of brokering a few. Got way too busy to mess with it and keep it updated.

There are always tons of boats out there that run every week. I just recently parted with the dealer that I used to buy these through. I bought the boats, reconditioned them and then sold them. Before I left, I had the 2002 30 daytona with whippled 500s that I got and put up for sale.

I do know that there is a freaking sweet 2009 30 daytona minus power and drives that is in Cali that is supposed to run pretty soon. Unfortunately, I no longer am affiliated with the dealer so have no way of getting them.

I'm working on a way to pay for a boat dealer license to begin doing this again. This time though, I've come up with a more automated way of posting and keeping up with the stuff coming up at the auctions.
