454 MPI LX not reaching WOT
Just replaced motor with a remanufeactured 454 Gen IV in my 97 Formula 252 SS. The intake manifold had to be replaced due to damage from original motor. The fuel injection system has been gone over and everything seems to be working as it should., According to the diagnostic computer all systems are functioning as they should, but I can not achieve 4600 RPM, can only achieve around 4000 RPM. Any suggestions?

my fuel pressure regulator died in the time frame i replaced my blowed up engine last year
