525 EFI+ 700 sci charger

this is not a Pantera topic, but i would like to know about opinions of Pantera owners.

a friend of mine who is Cigarette dealer here has a spare 700 sci supercharger. he asked me if we can install it to 525 EFI. mercury service in Turkey doesn't know anything about chargers so we will try an experiment.

any ideas if it's a good idea or a stupid way to destroy 2 marvelous mechanics?

not a boat actually. just engine and charger for the time being. spares we can call for his company. if we succeed i would think of installing on my up-coming 28. for sure i will need to change hatch. i wonder if it is possible to modify using exact 700 nxt charger? i know i will need tuning that is for sure

tomcei are you going to cumberland this weekend? im dragging down from buffalo ny. my friends is a 03 28 american flag boat. i will try to dig up a pic. its a 525 stroked to 540 with a whipple. 850 horse. runs low-mid 80's. his fit under his engine hatch. my pantera came with a 525sc and fit under the hatch so i dont see any reason to modify your hatch

88Bullet, Can't make Cumberland.

If I had my drive I might. My ride has been parked for far too long. I have a few things finally coming together for me so it should be going by spring.

Berk, I would think there is info out there for you regarding the combo you asked about.
