Default "Porsche" on the water

Of all the go fast boats...which manufacturer do you consider as being the "Porsche" on the water?

I'm going to go ahead and use my vote for Donzi...I think the name itself sounds unique/exotic... I am biased though

Cig.

Reason: It's been around forever, still looks more or less the same, great build qualitiy, works well in alot of different conditions, it's not the fastest nor the slowest and priced in the middle comparet to some of the super high end stuff.
Just my take on it.

i agree, porsche never really change much on the 911 models....where donzi has changed 33 blackwidow, to the ZX line to the ZR line...where cig has the same narrow body sleak look

I'll agree...but it almost sounds like you just described a Formula also.

Heres an exotic on the water for ya. Look at it run at 1:44 in the vid....and at 1:54, I think the sailboat guy they passed soiled himself...lol.

hmmm. tough one. I agree on Cigarette.

However, as a two p-car owner I don't agree with the "not the fastest or slowest" comment. I know my two are at the top of their respective "fast" category and the latest 911 Turbo S with PDK has the second fastest times for any production car EVER. The only thing faster was the Veyron and that costs 1.5M and is impossible to get.

This should start some conversations.... get your popcorn

V hulls only:
Outerlimits = Mclaren or Bugatti
Nor-Tech = Mercedes (SLR, AMG's)
Donzi = Nissan/Caddy (Z cars to GTR/CTS-V)
Fountain = Chevrolet (Corvette Z06 maybe even ZR1)
Baja = Chevrolet/Ford (Camaro Z/Mustang GT-GT500)
Cigarette = Porsche (911 to 911 Turbo's)

I may have missed a couple of brands. Please feel free to disagree with my assessments as they are not meant to offend anyone. Just my $.02

"Porsche's" are known for their handling and speed, I have to say that's a Velocity.
