i have an 87 p32 with alphas,no mufflers and i get steam does anyone else get this.

Steam on the water? my 27 does the same thing totally normal.

almost sounds like a song My P32 does the same thing, so did my P22.....its normal

i beleave your right because of the way the exhaust goes into one,so the next question has anyone tried to do anything to change the steaming like the thermostat housing or riser gaskets or newer water pump? this drives my nuts.

I'm not sure how much yours is steaming...I did notice the cooler the air is or the colder the lake temperature the more noticable it is

It's because the exhaust exits so close to the water where most thru hull's exit out the back. Gonna have to live with it unless you blow holes in the back of the transom and plug the factory holes. I've seen this and it looks horrible IMO.

no it doesnt steam much just bugs me.i didnt no if you put more water in the exhaust if it would stop it?

i figured it had something to do with pachanga exhaust.
