I have never heard of a Toronto Poker run. What marina is it out of, and who organizes it?

My last issue of Poker Runs America Magazine stated in the "Event Calendar" that the 2011 Lake Ontario Poker Run in Toronto, ON, Canada was to be held July 15-16.

I posted a thread that week on this forum asking if anyone knew anything about it and not a single person replied! (!)

I'm really surprised that in a city as large as Toronto, the offshore powerboating community doesn't seem to be very organized... unless they just don't frequent OSO.

There is a lot of nice hardware around toronto, but not all that much in toronto. I am in the harbour almost every day, and have only seen three offshore boats yet, the 36 nortech extreme exhibit, and the 43 that used to belong to jassman, then a small maybe 26 single cat. if anyone has the info, I would take the carver out and watch everyone go by.

Yeah he's up here.
PRA used to have a run on Lake Ontario every Sept.

Every second year the weather was chit.

It doesnt exist any more.

ar15meister has the black 28 rebel yell, he is from toronto. We usually come to watch the buffalo poker run since our cottage is in crystal beach. But we are a bit to small to run to sunset if the water kicks up
