The Street Party I think you are talking about takes place on Friday night where they completely shut down Duval and have all the teams park their rigs w/boats for a couple of hrs....this is the party that you DON'T want to miss. Great time to get up close and personal with the teams and boats.

I know there is a boat parade the Sunday before the races where they close off Duval and have all the team pulls the boats through Duval during the afternoon. Not really that big of a deal.
