Thumbs up Watch Nick of Statement Marine,Attempt World Record - NYC to Bermuda 9/21/11

Nick Buis is doing the record breaking run from New York City to Bermuda with customer Chris Feritig who bought a 37’ Statement Marine center console with air-ride suspension and she is powered by twin Cummins Mercruiser Diesel TDI 350 engines and XR drives. They will be heading out at 9:20am on 9/21/11 from New York City. Mike Anderson of POM-USA.com (Performace Outboard Machine) is also joining Nick and Chris on this record breaking run. This has been Chris' dream for a long time and we are glad to be a part of it from manufacturing the boat to being along for the full suspension ride for the record. You can watch it live @

Can't wait for the video feed. Hoping for good weather, no mechanical issues and maybe a bit of luck.

I sent Chris a couple of flag poles and I hope he has a chance to fly our countries colors when he comes into port for the win.
Best of luck and be SAFE!
