wanted CMI rope seal tails for split top headers. Outdrive is a TRS. The tails need to be approx. 10 inches in length from the end of the header collector tube to the inside of the transom. Advice on solving this problem would be appreciated.

Contact cmi they should be able to help you out,Or if you can find a good muffler shop & already have your rope seals & clamps someone who knows how to run the equipment can do wonders a lot cheaper. Just make sure they practice with standard tubing first!

Thanks again! I have called CMI and they said $1200 to $1300 which was more than I wanted to spend for custom built new tails. I wanted to find some used tails and just have the end towards the transom cut off and a new 4 inch tube welded on.
