Thanks, indeed i do Any of you think i should try a 25 prop or go to a standard 23 and get a lil more rpm?

your speed is about right.
try running the boat where you can get a bit of air under it.

That would seem to be a no wake zone.
Kinda tight quarters for high speed runs.

id rather have the boat in the ocean in 4 footer's then take the risk of a boat pulling out of that narrow canal or something bad happening to the motor or drive and loose control .
that was just bad judgment
