Thanks, indeed i do Any of you think i should try a 25 prop or go to a standard 23 and get a lil more rpm?

your speed is about right.
try running the boat where you can get a bit of air under it.

that's what I was thinking. I can imagine grandma in her paddle boat blowing out her dentures trying to get out of the way when he comes screaming around the corner. lol

That would seem to be a no wake zone.
Kinda tight quarters for high speed runs.

id rather have the boat in the ocean in 4 footer's then take the risk of a boat pulling out of that narrow canal or something bad happening to the motor or drive and loose control .
that was just bad judgment
