Default What's an 08' 26 Outlaw worth?

I have a 08' 26 Outlaw with H.O., Heritage matching trailer, 22 low hours, Bought new March 10', still has engine/drive warranty, SST, loaded boat with great stereo. I have seen some priced between 55-70k. Better than new

Please don't take this as trying to be rude or direct but there is no such thing as better than new. You can add all sorts of stereo stuff and goodies to a boat but you won't see that money back. Even adding big power can sometimes make the boat less appealing because a lot of people like doing their own thing. It may make the boat more attractive in a sea of similar boats but that is about it.

I have seen some crazy insane prices on both 26 and 25 Outlaws...when I purchased my 25 I paid less for it new ($63K on a trailer loaded with all options) than I saw some used ones listed for. In fact, there was still one of those listed on Boattrader not long ago that was listed when I got mine back in 2007. The market is just not in that great of shape.

A concervative guess on a close to 4 year old boat would be somewhere in the neighborhood of 45-50K if you actually want to sell it. To be honest, right now that might be high as I have not been too up to date on 26 Values lately. Other things can affect value too like salt use and graphics color. Real money value to a dealer is probably even less because they know they will be sitting on it for a while. I looked on Boattrader and most of the 26's listed on there have been for sale for over a year.

In the end, it is only worth what someone is willing to pay. You may find the guy that has to have your exact boat and will pay more for it. I got lucky like that when I sold my 35th Anniversary 25 Outlaw. I got a grand less than I paid for it two years prior. That was right before the bottom fell out of the market though.

Agreed, also, depending where you are located its getting close to the end of the season. most people dont like to buy a boat that they will have to wait 4 months to use. My advice (for what its worth) is to liat it for its worth to you and see if it sells, if not, keep and enjoy. However, if your in the situation that ALOT of people are (sadly) and HAVE to sell it, then list it for what you NEED to get out of it, and hope you do.

Either way, good luck, it sounds like a nice boat.

Yeah I know what you mean and I do not expect to get any extra $ for the extras I have added. Just saying boat is extremely clean and has nice (imo) upgrades. I figured 50-55 sells it and probably not until Spring. Luckily boat is paid for and I don't need the $, but it would be nice to pay off student loans being I've only used the boat 22 hours in 2 years.

I was just wondering what others thought.... Thanks for feedback
