Cool! You need a little jump seat in the back for JC.

So cool George. If you do bring it home and test it. Give me a call. Would love to see it go, and maybe get a video. I'll be home. Still not back to work. At least another week till my arms up to work.

Thumbs up Hello George. Steering question fx10 supervader.

Hello George.
I purchased a 72 gw invader last year that is in
Near mint condition. It has been in storage since
The early 80's. It has a Johnson 50, and I purchased
a trim/tilt plate.
I would like to upgrade my steering and was wondering
If you could tell me what you used. Part number would
great. Also, the trim tabs on the back?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Marc

Marc

fx 10 could better answer those questions since the boat came from him with the tabs and steering installed...

Steering Helm is a Teleflex Safe T Quick NFB (no feed back) helm, and Tab planes are Bennet Sport planes, 9" X 12". Had to have brackets welded to the planes and made up for the transom for mounting the 5/16 SS turnbuckle.
