My xz drive has a larger shaft, cant use old props.
Can hub be changed? Anyone have this package?
Lots of black smoke on the transom. Any speed improvments or prop suggestions? Currently 26 bravo 4 blade/ best of [email protected] 64-67 depending. Also have a customer service concern that is being ignored by fountain, sorry to hear I'm not alone. thanks

Yes, you can change back to the small shaft and carrier. Some one should be glad to exchange with you since the big shaft kit is big money. Hubs are available but you need newer style props.

PS. All 500 EFI's run very rich, what motor do you have?

Get lab finished prop/props and gain 2-3 mph!

Try posting this in the Fountain section. There are a lot of members with 27's. Try posting a question just about the 496 running rich in this section. What kind of issues do you have with the Factory?

thanks for the info, I'll try fountain site.
While returning from ohio this spring with my new boat
the locking snaps on the back of my cover ripped out of
the gel, the prongs on a grommet ripped my vinyl on the hatch.
Also ripped the cover at a side snap. Great boat, cover is junk.
My other boats had sunbrella type which lasted 5 years.
I sent pictures and a letter, 4 follow up calls, zero response.
Which is too bad since their are so many fountains to look forward to after the 27. thanks jc
