i was wondering what happened to betty cook's kaama scarab. after betty was done with the boat in the early 80's my father-in-law and two others purchased it from her and raced it for a year or two under the name fast lane. does anyone have any old pictures of the boat when it was the fast lane? i would love to see them. thanks

when my father-in-law had it the boat was all white with red interior and red race hatches. it was called the FAST LANE and it was #28. where in Watkins Glenn was the boat located? was it for sale at the time?

it was in a barn up on a hill overlooking the lake white and red not set up as a race boat had a full interior plus cabin the guy had run into sombody i knew and told him he had a boat he would like to get rid of so i got the call and took a ride up it had kaama modified 420's kaama drives the guy had changed the intake setup from twin carbs on highrise manifolds to singles supposedly it ran around 90 the way it sat but ran a little over 100 originally i think i may still have some pics i will look

i've had my 37 outerlimits for 3-4 years now. it's mostly white with purple, yellow and a some silver. i was on the buffalo poker run, but i had the all white magnum with the scoops and the number p3-11 on the front. the ol is getting new power, should be ready for the toys for tots run in N.T. next spring. i did see your hustler for the first time at the run, looked great, those boats have nice lines and will never go out of style.
