I had a 4 blade Hydromotive prop and it lifted the stern way too much. Have you tried a 24 Bravo1 prop?

I had much better luck with the mirage plus props on our 242. Mine was labbed to get more bow lift, counteracted the hook in the hull.
What RPM do you want to turn?

First you need to know the engines primary operating range for a marine application. Count on a drop of 300ish rpm per " of degree increase. Even with the 177 I'd imagine your engine with a light load should be near or under 5K rpm's. The 4 blade will give you the hole shot but will destroy a bravo drive in a hurry. Stay with a custom labbed 25mirage plus.
