Default Ron Potter built 540 Dyno Numbers

My engine is done, could not be happier with the results...695 horse at 5600 rpm, 695 torque at 4950...makes 645tq at 4000 and then climbs from there. Factory 500 efi intake, Merlin 345 heads, all massaged by Ron, big solid roller. I am very impressed that it makes this kind of power at these RPM's we are only propping for 5600 and limiter is in at 5800. Gonna pull like a freight train from cruise to WFO!

Why a solid? You are not spinning very high rpm's. Less work with a hydraulic.

Thats what Ron spec'd and had custom ground...I have been drag racing for years and a valve adjustment every now and then is no big deal. I am extremely happy with the power curve!

Oh yeah...with the cam specs I was figuring a lot more rpm and not near as much torque...Mr Potter definitely knows what he is doing. The quest for 100mph begins....

Already talked to Kenny at the factory...with the torque I have 100 mph should be a reality.

Congrats!

I couldn't be happier with my Potter motors!
He is one heck of an engine builder and a great guy too!
