Default SoCal Boater Tragedy

A memorial is being held this weekend for Christy Wilson, who was one of the victims of the brutal Salon Meritage shooting in Seal Beach last week. Christy and her husband, Paul, were beloved boaters who frequented Lake Havasu and the SCOPE events.

Tank Sears and his wife, Kelly, knew Christy very well and are still trying to understand how this happened. Tank was kind of enough to put his thoughts into words for the Powerboat website. There is a memorial fund setup for the Wilson family. Information is at the bottom of Tank's blog. Check it out:

You have to wonder what in the heck is happening in this world. Senseless loss of what appears to be person who had everything to live for....................

The guy who did this should fry big time, but the laws in Cali will allow him to outlive a lot of us even if he gets the death penalty.

May she rest in peace. To those who knew her, I'm sincerely sorry for your loss
