Default Looking for Magnum top scoops...

I own the old Thumper Too / Head Hunter which can be seen in the 1st photo from 1973. The top end including the rear deck were stolen when it was moored in Marine Del Ray. What I am trying to find is the old top scoop mold like the one on Little Rhino so we can duplicate them in the restorations.

Hay Bud, nice old pictures of 188th st, what year's that?

How far through the rebuild of Thumper Too are you?

Cant help with the moulds for the air scoops. Ian was going to make a wooden plug and make his own but has now gone a slightly different rout instead.

Yes, you are right - I cant get enough of the good old British weather - it was so bad this year that we didn’t get any summer at all, it just rained all the time. We had a good week in April and one again in October - great?!?

Likewise - hope to meet you someday!

All the best

Christian

Default !88th street

Photo is from 1973...Thumper Too / Head Hunter engine will be dynoed on 11/7,all the chrome will go off to be redone this year. Two High Speed Danfords to be rebuilt and it will be painted this fall. After that is all done we will put it on a a trailer that does not weigh 10,000 lbs and bring it back home for final rigging and graphics. We are planning on showcasing at some of there old timers races and then part with it.Which will be very hard, but thats what I do. I have the molds.
I make a scoop for the 18 donzi classic from the 70s for the high rise intake and I have a plug for a larger style almost as large as the larger racing cigarettes with large cut out in the rear.

I'm not sure if it is the same but I have one each of the center and outer scoops (they are slightly different) from a 28 Cigarette. Since Don owned both companies, could they be the same?

Thanks guys, the small scoop is the same on the 29'9" as they were on the 27...see little rhino. The center big scoop looks like they put a small one on top of a larger one.I will contact you both Wed. Bud 312-607-3115

Sure, it will likely be Saturday before I can. If I can earlier, I will.
