Was there a Rum Run race this year?... I've been in years past and watched CRC, and was there a few years back when Bobbit almost stuffed his 40 Skater, that was a close call!

PokerRun388, We (POPRA) had communication difficulties with the City of Long Beach. They decided, after they agreed to the program, that the program had to be run their way and there was no compromise. Their way presented some significant safety issues for us (they claimed that it would increase safety from their standpoint), not allowing us to put our safety provisions adequately in place. Essentially, they required us to change the whole program...because they wanted to! I was in the final meeting with them and I felt that they just didn't want to be bothered. We therefore told them to shove it (well we thought that, didn't really say that) ! Actually, we politely cancelled the event and hope to replace it with something bigger and better soon!
