I cannot find USCG approved hose anywhere (except in 400' reels from good year industrial hose division). I am looking for documentation re: using SAE 30R7 (automotive 50psi fuel hoe) instead of USCG type A1. several marinas have shown me 30R7 hose telling me it's from their marine supplier and it's what everyone uses.
A surveyor put on my survey that the fuel supply hose should be USCG or ABYC approved, so my insurance company wants it remedied.

Check out West Marine.
They carry fuel/vent hose in the grade you're looking for (A1 and A2).
Size ranges from 1/4 to 2 inches and prices from 1.99 to 13.99 a foot.

This was a thread just not to long ago.Dennis Moore booksays no rubber after fuel pump but I looked at the coastguard web http://www.uscgboating.org/reg/reg_s...ction=2.7#2.7. and found that by what I read that it only says that it has to have the coastguard number and date of manufacture visable to the eye.So this brings up the braided stainless fuel line that alot of us use, if we use coastguard approved line but we cover it up did we screw up James
