Default County Truck Auction 11/5

Palm Beach County- http://www.pbcgov.com/ofmb/financial...re/bidlots.htm

Trucks seem low mileage, many heavy duty trucks and very detailed maintainence records (click on download). Plenty of Duramax's in there and a few Cummins/7.3 Powerstrokes

sometimes government vehicles are good because they acutally do maintenece that most people don't. But a lot of these vehicles are treated like crap. I guess if you could get over the point they look plain jane and get it cheap, it might be a good deal.

No real deals if the prices stay where they were. If you click on the results of past auctions (6/18)you see the prices some similar vehicles went for. A 2001 Blazer went for $ 6200 ? Most of the others went for 3700- 4500. A 2004 f250 crew cab 5.4 gasser went for 12 k? That thing can't get out of its own way with that engine.

And I don't see any GM Duramax pickups- all are 6 liter gas.

all of the HD trucks are diesel (but they have utility bodies).

I looked at the maintainance on the Dodge 2500 pickup- ha ha that thing has been towed into the shop more times than a Yugo.
