If I know anyone I will let you know ! You might consisder trashing the orig 1905 suspension system for modern Torsion axle , why ? Well first off spring set-up has way too many moving parts and they rust and make way too much noise . Here are a few pics of how I deleted those ugly dripping rust leaf springs and installed triple torsion axle . Also my trailer was a 9 out of 10 as far no rust and was amazd to find that there were rust holes under each spring perch and what have never been able to repair it if I left springs in place . This trailer will be blasted then Hot-dipped Galv this winter then Epoxy primer then Merc silver and clear . Cant tell you haw many times someone walks over to my trailer and says " WHERE ARE THE SPRINGS , IS THAT A SOLID AXLE " I have to explain they are torsion

Noil ,
Before I spent a dime on rehab you need to cut open back rails and take a look inside , I would be shocked if zero water was in there or was in there and heavy rusting is not going on . My Skater built trailer showed zero signs or rust on outside however @ two of the spring perches there was a rust hole under each which permitted water then rust . The trailer is 23 yrs old and dont want you to throw your money away on rehad then have it break in galf 2 trs from now

Your correct but on the flip side over here we dont have a lake to drive on so 90 % of us over on the east coast boat in some level of salt . I have seen a one yr old painted trailer show rust and it was a Manning trailer , one of the best

American Galv and yes they made me drill holes unless they had in house welder make welds . Instead of drilling 75- 5/8 holes I used a washer as template and used plasma cutter and when done I will weld closed . I installed 1/2 weld in bungs at rear of frame rails to monitor inside . Are using rubber plugs to seal holes ?
