http://www.oceankey.com/

This is the best place if you don't mind $400 a night. It's right on the harbor so you never need to leave the property to see the race.

The Galleon Marina is the only game in town as far as I'm concrened. The Ocean Key House is a good place to stay and has private viewing of the race for their guest.

I agree with the Gallion Marina - we made our reservations a year ago. It is a close walk when you are doing the "Duvall Crawl". It is also the last turn buoy in the race and within walking distance to the Truman Annex and Navy Pier (hopefully the wet pits). Lots of our TOPPS members who are working the race are staying at Pelican's Landing - about $89.00 and up per night depending on what you want.
I have been going to the Key West Boat races since 1990 so if you need good restaurants etc. let me know.
