Talk about challenging, competitive and fun -- check this out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zx93ltjCPUY I've never seen this before, and with the low cost to get into it and operations, I'd like to see it grow fast. With these smaller boats, you don't need 8 foot waves to make it exciting!

That was the old UK based Honda series which was a great example of absolutely no discipline in powerboat racing and not how the rest of us race! The series has been replaced by a US and UK based one design commissioned by P1, in the UK they used Evinrude engines which have had some teething problems due to the factory wanting to see what broke first before making saddles etc stronger, the Fountain built hulls in the UK series have also suffered after one seasons light use.

Im so excited about this class. I would love to know more about it and visit with someone who is racing this year.
Where can I find more info on dates, rules, schedules, etc for the US version of this? I can only find the UK stuff..
