Default Page Motorsports in Key West

According to the webcast, Joey and Steve went over. If anyone hears any details on their condition please post. All they said was the medical boat had taken them to the dock.

Hope for the best.

From Keysnews.com -

One man was injured when the Page Motorsports powerboat wrecked Friday afternoon, but his condition was unknown as of 3 p.m.

It was unclear who was injured. Steve Page is the owner/driver and Joey Gratton is the throttleman.
Both men were taken to Coast Guard Sector Key West, where paramedics were waiting to take one of them to Lower Keys Medical Center on Stock Island.

They flipped on the last turn and their boat was left nose up.

Powerboat racer injured when boat flips
One man was injured when Page Motorsports’ powerboat wrecked Friday afternoon, but his condition was unknown as of 4 p.m.
Joey Gratton, the throttleman, was conscious and talking, according to a race captain. He is partners with Steve Page, the owner/driver, who was not injured.
Both men were taken to Coast Guard Sector Key West, where paramedics were waiting to take Gratton to Lower Keys Medical Center on Stock Island.
They flipped on the last turn and their boat was left nose up.
Page, an 18-year veteran, teamed up with Gratton in 1999. Both are former motocross racers.
Page Motorsports has won three world championships, eight national championships, the Randy Linebach Lighthouse Award and was inducted into the American Power Boat Association’s Hall of Champions, according to pagemotorsports.com.
