can't unplug main wire harness

does anyone have any suggestion on how to unplug my main wire harness motor was rebuilt 4 yrs ago so it has been apart its a 7.4
i am trying to unplug the harness but no luck pulling have peeled back the rubber it will not move at all

If you twist it, won't that break off the brass male terminals??

it is dry i peeled back the rubber i can actually see the brass prongs the plug looks close to new i even put a screw driver between the 2 pieces and twisted no luck not sure what could be holding it is there a risk of fire if i add wd 40 plus heat?

Make sure there is no power on I have seen the same thing it's just dry metal to metal it needs lube friction is what you more the likey dealing with.
