Insurance Claim Question

Hey guys and gals,
Quick question about my 270 Convincor. Apperantlety this boat has had some fiberglass work in the past that I did not know about. Im not sure a marine survey would have found it or not. Anyhow, Ive noticed after running the boat a few times it has developed a pretty good hair line crack under the windsheild on the left side of the boat. So big, I can fit a dime in the crack. The crack is about 10 inchs total length.
Its to nice of a boat to just let this stay. It dosent look like its getting any worse after Ive ran it after it developed. Will insurance cover something like this since it was pre exsisting? Its about to make me sick to see this on such a nice boat. Thank you.
